During the summer season you can take a boat trip to the idyllic island Hjertøya. This is a great recreation and outdoor area in Molde. The boat departs from the Reknesmoloen every day except Monday.

During the weekends you can visit a simple café in the yellow house at Hjertøyplassen. The cafe is run by the friends association Hjertøya Venner. The Fisheries Museum provides guides (everyday) for those who wish to see the unique collection of old buildings from the Romsdals coast. We also recommend the walk out to Hjertøytangen (8 km trip / return)
