After a stay here at Gloppen Hotell, you will realize that there is something special about local food from Nordfjord. With us, the food is from the village, fresh, pure and without additives.
Chef Bodil is a very good ambassador for Norwegian farmers and Norwegian products. Her menu consists of home cooking dishes with local produce from the local producers, most of them under 3 km away from the hotel.
Gloppen Brew is our very own craft brewery in the historic cellar of the hotel. Here we have two 500 litre tanks of craft brew at all times. Preben Moen, the hotel owner and manager, is the man behind this brew now sold in our restaurant. Preben became a beer stuart in 2013 at the Wine Acadamy School in Oslo, as one of only 70 in the country.
