Refsnes Gods has formed the setting for grand celebrations for 250 years. Food and wine has always been a major focus and many guests are impressed by our product. Our impressive wine cellar holds thousands of hand-selected wines from all over the world for you to choose from while you dine. Whether you are looking for a romantic setting for your big day or an idyllic setting for your party.

The Munch Restaurant has a beautiful and comfortable atmosphere, and our art is a travel destination in itself. Read more about the Munch artworks here. For companies over eight persons, you must order the menu and wine in advance. Companies or wedding can also choose from our banquet menus.

Asparagus duo

Aioli with homemade pickled cucumber and parmesan. Raspberry vinaigrette

We use the freshest vegetables in season. The garnish will therefore vary by access for the different dishes. To ensure an optimal experience, we ask that the company chooses the same menu and the number of dishes to all guests. We ask that menu and wine choice is confirmed at least one week before, to ensure that all commodities are available. Because we set high standards for quality, we reserve the right to change ingredients without notice if the quality or availability in certain periods do not hold the correct standard. In order to deliver the same high quality services to all our guests, we ask that we are informed as early as possible should there be any allergies and special diets.

Our Chef has a keen interest in modern Scandinavian cuisine, sourcing many local and national ingredients. We change our menus to follow the seasons, constantly evolving along with new found ingredients and techniques. The wine cellar in its current form was started around 1970 and has always been maintained by all the rules of the art. This long-term thinking means that we often preserve wine for many decades. It gives us unprecedented access on mature wines that you will hardly find anywhere else. Wines are available in many price categories and restaurant manager and her team will be delighted to find the best wine to suit your food for any occasion. Our cellar presently holds over 7000 bottles.
